The Aerospace Department, IIT Bombay seeks to establish traditions which will foster creativity and growth of excellence.Established in 1966-67 as the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, the department was renamed the Department of Aerospace Engineering in 1992. MIT offers a Bachelor’s and Master’s program in engineering streams. It also gives students the option to carry out full-time or part time research.
