Management student grabs highest CTC package of INR 1.02 Cr

A student studying at Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi has bagged a placement in an international company with a whopping pay package of Rs. 1.02 crore

As per PTI, Faculty of Management Studies recorded 100 per cent placement for its students and the highest domestic pay package for the current year stood at INR 66 lakh per annum, which is Rs. 31 lakh ahead than last year.

The average salary package offered this year was Rs. 20.5 lakh, which is an increase of 20 per cent from the previous year.

Total 210 students participated in the placement drive this year, during which various companies from different sectors participated in it. Some of them included Accenture Strategy, EY Consulting, Star India and ITC among others.
"Approx 26 per cent of the total students got placed in consulting firms. FMS experienced a 30 per cent increase in the number of finance positions offered to students this year, as compared to the last," the annual placement report for the 2014-2016 batch stated.

Companies like Adobe, HT Media, Microsoft, Nestle, Coca-Cola, GAIL, Heinz, and PepsiCo recruited from FMS in the sales and marketing sector.
